Challenge

The City of Camden is the county seat of Camden County, New Jersey. Camden is located directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is where you will find the headquarters of the famous Campbell Soup Company!

The Office of Fleet Management, buys, maintains and makes sure that the City’s vehicles are available, dependable, and safe. They were planning to construct a new building, for a service garage, for the city. The plans for the new building included a mezzanine for storage space.

The contractor for the project, EPIC, reached out to The Mezzanine Company to provide a storage solution.

Solution

Working closely with EPIC, we provided a proposal for a 728 square foot rectangular shaped storage mezzanine that would serve their needs and incorporated the mezzanine design into the building design.

For the flooring, Resindek would be used. To allow for foot traffic, an L-shaped OSHA staircase was provided.

Once the proposal was accepted, approval drawings were generated and our local rep made a site visit to make the finishing design adjustments. When the new floor was poured, based on our mezzanine design, custom footings were poured for the location of all of the columns.

When the mezzanine production was completed, we arranged for a prompt delivery and installation by our local team.
