Artegraft is a medical device manufacturer, located in North Brunswick, NJ, that specializes in arterial grafts. Artegraft was in need of additional space in their facility for storing shipping supplies and packaging materials in order to free up space by their receiving dock area. They decided to make use of the ample height in their facility to gain the space they needed.

Artegraft reached out to The Mezzanine Company about providing a turnkey solution for their expansion. In addition to our mezzanine services, the project would require sprinklers and lights above and underneath the mezzanine as well.

Working with experienced industry professionals, The Mezzanine Company agreed to handle the GC duties for the entire project. We arranged for technicians from all of the involved companies to make site visits to determine the scope of the work required.

Based on the information gathered from these visits we were able to present Artegraft with a thorough proposal for the complete project. The estimate included an 800 square foot mezzanine, a sprinkler system, and lighting above and below the mezzanine.

Additionally, we provided an OSHA regulation straight stair for access to the platform. We also utilized a 6’ wide double swing gate to help facilitate the movement of larger materials to and from the platform. For the flooring, we used 1/2” ResinDek.

Lastly, the mezzanine was custom designed to fit above a heat room and water filtration system below.

During the entire process, we worked closely with Artegraft, our electrician and plumber, and the mezzanine installation team, to coordinate a smooth process. It included handling the permitting for the mezzanine, electrical and sprinkler work.

As always, our emphasis on teamwork and communication, and our turnkey project management allowed Artegraft to focus on their manufacturing process while we guided the expansion project to a successful completion together.
