CITSCORP, located in Wilmington, NC, is “a comprehensive Industrial Automation Distributor”. Recently, they were looking to gain some additional space in their building for storage and more shelving units.

In order to gain a maximum amount of space within their existing building, they needed a mezzanine solution that could be custom designed to work around their existing walls and obstructions including a number of flared building columns.

Additionally, CITSCORP wanted to reduce interruption to business as much as possible during installation.

CITSCORP contact The Mezzanine Company to help provide a solution.

Working closely with CITSCORP’s company president, we were able to provide them with a very competitive budge number over the phone.

Based on the budget price that was provided, they request a detailed quote for an approximately 1,250 square foot mezzanine. Included in the quote was a double swing gate in order to easily place their items onto the structure. Additionally, the mezzanine would include two OSHA straight run staircases to provide easy access to employees from both ends.

Along with functionality and space, they gained a durable and easy to clean floor by proceeding with a gray diamond seal finish for their flooring.

After discussing different project details over a couple of weeks, CITSCORP requested an initial site visit before proceeding with the order. The Mezzanine Company was able to coordinate a paid site visit with CITSCORP for one of our project managers to go to their NC facility; which was later credited to their project upon placing an order.

With only the initial site visit, The Mezzanine Company was able to finalize all the project details without needing a follow up visit during the approval stage.

Once the mezzanine was ready for shipment, we coordinated the installation with our local installation team. To reduce interruption to business, the installation team started the install on a weekend and also worked longer hours. This resulted in an installation time of only four day, including the weekend!
