Corpus Christi Freightliner, Corpus Christi, TX
Corpus Christi Freightliner has been manufacturing of heavy and medium duty trucks since 1967. They were looking for some additional space in their service department for storing shop tools and equipment. As they had already maximized the floor space of their facility, Corpus Christi Freightliner contacted The Mezzanine Company about a mezzanine solution.
Some challenges we had to work around were:
- The mezzanine would be installed in an active service department and it was important that interruptions to business were minimal.
- The mezzanine needed to be positioned against a wall with several obstructions
The Mezzanine Company worked closely with Corpus Christi Freightliner to come up with a design for a storage platform mezzanine that would serve their unique needs. We proposed an approximate 650 square foot platform. The mezzanine included a straight run staircase for employee access.
Additionally, the mezzanine was designed to cantilever several feet along one section, so as to keep the columns away from the wall and enable us to work around the obstructions.
Once the proposal was approved, we sent our local Texas representative to review the layout drawings with the customer to get the final approval.
Once the mezzanine was out of production, we arranged for a prompt delivery the week preceding the install weekend. The mezzanine was installed as planned, and on time, with minimum interruption to operations.
Jason Graham from Corpus Christi Freightliner had this to say about us. “The materials arrived completely painted and ready to assemble. The installers were very profession and tried their best not to disrupt normal business. I would recommend The Mezzanine Company to anyone considering installing a mezzanine.”
