Challenge

The Mezzanine Company has had the opportunity to work on many gym projects throughout the country. When Ryan Gadles chose to open his new gym in Braintree, MA, he wanted someone with experience on gym mezzanines and so he turned to The Mezzanine Company to design and supply the mezzanine for the cardio deck of his new facility.

Ryan’s new facility would be a “health club that offers a wide array of services and amenities” and “a luxury fitness experience at an affordable price”. To make room for these amenities, they needed to create additional space within the building. A mezzanine was a good solution, but they needed to make sure the mezzanine would be designed to meld with the plans for the new location.

Solution

Working closing with the owner, The Mezzanine Company provided a design for an approximately 1,600 square foot custom mezzanine. The mezzanine would include L-shaped IBC stairs and wire mesh handrail. The mezzanine was specifically designed for the weight and point loads of the treadmills that would be on top.

Additionally, the mezzanine was designed to meet up with an existing second floor in their location. To create a fluid flow between the second floor and the mezzanine, The Mezzanine Company also provided additional handrail and kick plate for this existing space.

After the initial design was approved, our project manager made a site visit and confirmed all the measurements and made final adjustments to the design. When production was completed, and we were cleared to deliver and install, our installers worked quickly and efficiently and soon Fit Factory’s new 1,600 square foot cardio deck was finished.

What Our Customers Say...

It is always my intention to do business with companies that put customer service and satisfaction in the forefront. When we needed a mezzanine to expand storage in one of our rooms we looked for a company that we felt could fit the bill and The Mezzanine Company certainly did just that.
