Joining Technologies is a “leading North American provider of the latest in precision laser welding technology, electron beam (EB) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) technologies, supply chain management and machining services.”

At the end of 2015, we worked with Joining Technologies on our first mezzanine project together. It was a big success and, not long after completion, they reached out to us again for another mezzanine structure.

As with their previous project, they were tight on space at their facility and needed more room to expand in order to accommodate their business growth. They were looking for a platform for storage of materials and laser machines.

Working off of a CAD design provided by the client, we were able to provide a proposal for an 800 square foot mezzanine. The mezzanine would also include an IBC staircase to provide necessary access.

Additionally, since the mezzanine would need to fit against two existing walls with building columns, the mezzanine had to be custom designed with cutouts to accommodate these obstructions.

Once the mezzanine was ready for shipment and delivery, we coordinated everything with our experienced installer to provide a quick installation. Once the installation was completed, the customer installed their own special modular walls above and below to fully enclose the mezzanine.
