Spencer ARL “specializes in providing third-party logistics services to the transportation manufacturing industries.” To increase business, Spencer ARL needed to set up a new line enabling them to increase production volume dramatically. Additionally, they needed to organize their storage better.

Spencer ARL needed to have the mezzanine installed before they started to run the new line and timing was of the essence.

They reached out to The Mezzanine Company to provide a solution.

The Mezzanine Company reviewed Spencer ARL’s requirements and building space and provided a proposal for an approximately 5,000 square foot mezzanine. The mezzanine included 2 IBC mezzanine stairs.

Additionally, the mezzanine would have a total of four large overhead safety gates, each 120” x 60”. The gates would serve loading/dropping areas for loading multiple pallets and oversized items off and on the mezzanine

Lastly, the mezzanine was specially designed with specific column placements that were positioned between existing building columns and existing rack storage.

Once Spencer ARL decided to move ahead with the proposal, we had our project manager make a site visit in order to review the approval drawings and finalize our post placements.

To meet the required timing, we worked with Spencer ARL to coordinate a completion date and then worked on a schedule for the drawings and production, to meet their required date. We set up the delivery for a Friday and worked through the weekend to set up the main steel of the mezzanine, to avoid a huge disruption to current production operations.

Our team was able to finish the installation a day ahead of schedule, and the client was very happy. Some comments we received were “Off the chart professionalism……these guys meet deadlines, and get the job done in a professional manner……I would recommend them in a heartbeat”.
